Vision Africa has been established on: 20 November 2005 at Johannesburg, Registration number .048-429-NPO.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The organization has been established to provide skills to women and children by increasing potential that Information and Communication Technologies are having on the socio-economic and technological progression within the development discourse. We do not wish to restrict our operation to a particular race. Developing a fundraising driven programme through Information Technologies&lt;br /&gt;(IT) activities and Media&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Corporate governance&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt;A voluntary Board of Trustees governs vision Africa. The Trustees have been chosen because of their expertise in various areas that are relevant to the programme. The Board of Trustees gives expert advice, input and time, and are responsible for supporting the programmes and for overseeing the project.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Executive committee&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;The Executive committee manages the day-to-day operations of the Organization. Together with the Executive Team we have a group of volunteers who offer their services regularly. These services include: assistance in education, skill development, organizing fundraising events and career guidance. An Executive-Director manages the Organization &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Our activities 2008&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;November 2007, Vision Africa has trained 40 children/Youth including refugee children on the use of ICT, sponsored by Builders Warehouse. ICT skills have been given to children/youth from communities. We do appreciate and thanking Builders Warehouse.
